Wren Warne-Jacobsen is 17 years old and 4.0 high school student at Minnesota Virtual Academy, an online school that allows her the flexibility of doing school work no matter where she is training or competing. She began skating when she was 5 years old at the Bemidji Figure Skating Club and she started competing at age 7. She is a 6-time Minnesota State Champion, a 3-time Upper Great Lakes Regional Champion, 5-time Regional Medalist, Midwestern Sectional Champion and a 2-time Sectional Medalist. In 2019 she qualified for and competed at her second U.S. Figure Skating Championships where she finished 3rd in the Junior Ladies Freeskate and 5th in the country overall.

Wren’s goals for 2020-2021 are to strive to achieve her personal best scores as she also continues to work toward her goal of becoming a member of Team USA.

Her other interests include being outdoors, reading fantasy adventure novels, spending time with her family and her cat Cole. Her favorite subject is History and she looks forward to attending college where she plans to study Political Science, Government and Law.
